iKhokha is looking for a logistics manager who can build a world-class logistics and supply chain system for our growing department.

So what are you going to do?
You will have the freedom to build a world-class logistics and supply chain system and the team at your discretion.
You are responsible for influencing and guiding important strategic decisions in the field of supply chain, logistics, and purchasing.
You are proactive in the ownership and development of the company’s supply chain and logistics function.
You work with a young, dynamic team within an entrepreneurial scale-up culture – it’s a rollercoaster ride!


The deal breakers:
Diploma, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management / Logistics.
Minimum 3 years of management experience in a national logistics/supply chain team.
Industry experience in an e-commerce environment or in telecommunications, ICT, or electronic goods environment would be an advantage.
Must be a self-starter/entrepreneur and willing to roll up his sleeves in a company with a scale-up culture.
Must be able to handle pressure and adapt to changes in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
Must be willing to train junior team members, mentor and coach the Logistics team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.


What are we looking for?
Own the different inventory flows within iKhokha’s growing global supply chain from supplier to end customer/trader.
Proactively monitor, develop and improve the company’s new inventory management system, including implementation and monitoring of control procedures and policies.
Ensuring accurate stock counts from plate to floor and floor to the plate and reducing stock shrinkage to an absolute minimum.
Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained at all times to serve multiple distribution channels (i.e. direct inbound and outbound sales channels, national Game, Makro and Builders retail footprint, Takealot and other e-commerce channels, etc.)
This includes production forecasts based on expected unit sales and lead times of suppliers
Provide measurable improvements in lead times and costs for buying card readers and related POS hardware from local and international suppliers
Provide measurable improvements in lead times and execution costs for the shipping card reader and related POS hardware to merchants
Help achieve efficiency in purchasing card readers and related POS hardware without sacrificing quality
Assisting and proactively communicating with the company’s stakeholders (i.e. product, growth, and risk teams) to drive changes in the company’s logistics processes
Manage third-party relationships with local and international suppliers, courier companies, freight and forwarders, warehousing providers, etc.
Manage a growing logistics and supply chain team, with responsibilities such as:
Take ownership of the knowledge and development of the team in the field of logistics and supply chain management
Assisting the Company’s Head of Risk & Compliance in enforcing compliance by the team member of the Payments Council International Standards.
